Paint the fronts and backs of the pumpkin sponges with the orange glitter paint and the fronts and backs of the bat sponges with the black glitter paint. Allow to dry completely.

Insert the inside embroidery hoop into the outside hoop to make a sphere and secure together with glue. Paint the embroidery hoop sphere with orange acrylic paint. Let dry.

Thread the stretch cord through the needle and tie a double knot at the end. Insert the needle through the end of one bat and pull the cord until the knot touches the bat. Tie the other end of the cord to the top of the sphere so that it hangs down into the sphere. Cut away the excess cord and needle.

Repeat previous step to attach the pumpkins and remaining bats to the sides of the sphere, making sure each one hangs at a different level.

Tie the black ribbon into small bows around the sides of the hoops and a loop at the top of the hoops for a hanger.
