Paper Pumpkin

4 qty. ½” x 8 ½” Orange Cardstock for pumpkin
3 qty. ¼” x 8 ½” Green Cardstock for vines
1 qty. ¼” x 4” Brown Cardstock for stem
1 qty. 4” x 5” Green Cardstock for leaves
3/16” Meriken Double-stick tape #30013283
Pencil for tracing
Sharp scissors
Paper trimmer #30017631

Tape one orange cardstock strip and join the ends together to create a loop. Overlap ends about ½” and tape together. Tape another strip and do the same. Place the two loops together in a cross and tape the two loops together at the top and bottom. Make two more loops and slip between the first two oops. Join all together by taping at the top and bottom where the loops meet.

At the bottom slightly crease the loops about 1” out. This will make the pumpkin sit flat.

Tale a pencil and curl the green and brown strip s around it. Slightly uncurl and tape one end to the top of the pumpkin for the vines and stem. Trace and cut out two leaves from green cardstock using the pattern provided. Tape the leaves to the top of the pumpkin.

Make a bunch of pumpkins to decorate your Halloween or Thanksgiving table or hang them up as a decoration.
