Instructions:
First we are going to work on the swirl so take 3 inches of the 20 gauge wire and set on the side.
Take 4 inches of 22 gauge wire and wrap one end 3 times around the 20 gauge wire.
Thread onto the 20 gauge wire a red crystal, a clear crystal, a red crystal and
move them next to the wrapped wire. Try to have all of this centered in the
middle of the 20 gauge wire. Bring the 22 gauge wire over the 3 beads and
wrap 3 times at the end. Trim off the excess and smooth the wrap with chain
nose pliers.
Now use the smaller cylinder of the bail making pliers, hold the 20 gauge
wire between the end and the crystal then bend the wire to the right.
Use the larger cylinder of the bail making pliers, hold the other end of the
20 gauge wire between the end and the crystal and bend to the left.
Using the smallest step of the 3 step pliers, create a small loop on both ends
of the 20 gauge wire. (cont. on back)

Now for the hoop, cut 4 inches of 20 gauge wire. Using the smallest step of
the 3 step pliers, make a small loop on both ends of the wire. Loops should
face the same way this time.
Take the wrap and tap pliers and using the largest step, hold the middle of
the wire and bend the two ends to meet at the top thus creating a tear drop
shape. Use your fingers to bend the wire so that the eyes of the two loops
over lap.
If needed, adjust the swirl to fit within the confines of the hoop. Attach the
end with the smaller curve to the top of the tear drop with a 4 mm jump ring.
Attach the bottom of the swirl to the base of the tear drop with the jump
ring that is already on the heart charm.
Connect the two small loops at the top of the tear drop with the ear hook.
Repeat all steps for the other side of the earring.
