Instructions:
Follow the Clover Pom Pom maker instructions for use. Use either size depending on how big you want your panda.

Separate the two sides of the pom pom maker and work with one side for the front of the panda. NOTE: In parentheses, analog clock numbers between 6 and 12 will give you a reference of where to wrap.

Start with a few wraps of black yarn near the bottom of the semi-circle for the nose (7:00). The more yarn you use, the bigger the nose. Tie off yarn ends.

Take the white yarn and completely cover the semi-circle with multiple layers. Tie off yarn ends.

Take the black yarn and wrap at an angle slightly above the mid-point of the semi-circle for the eyes (10:00). Tie off yarn ends.

Take the white yarn and completely cover the semi-circle with multiple layers. Tie off yarn ends.

Place a pencil, chopstick or similar at an angle along the top of the semi-circle, near where the eyes were wrapped (10:00). Wrap black yarn around for the ears. Tie off yarn ends. The pencil helps makes the yarn wrap at a longer length for the ears to stand out when trimmed.

The front face of the panda wrapping is complete. Now, Take the other side of the pom pom maker and completely wrap with white yarn. Wrap around until it is about the same size as the other side.

Bring the two ends together.

Carefully cut apart the yarn along the center on both ends. You will sort of see the face.

Take a longer piece of yarn about 24” long, double up  and follow the manufacturer’s directions and slip the yarn through the holder to join the two sides of the pom poms together. Tie to secure. The excess yarn can be used as the hanger for the pom pom.

Trim the yarn down to shape the panda, except for the longer black yarn for the ears.

After completely trimming the face and head, trim the black ear yarn, slightly longer and at a curve to shape the ears.

Glue the moving eyes over the black eye patches.
