Use the pictured sample as a guide to make the nose. Take a 1/2” ball of White Hearty Clay. Shape into a rounded cone about 3/4” long. Let dry. Paint with orange acrylic paint for a “carrot” nose. Let dry.

Cover the Styrofoam ball with the Snow Tex. Let dry.

Glue the eyes onto the Styrofoam ball. Glue the Hearty Clay nose right below.

Take the Black Foamie and free hand cut five 1/4’ circles. NOTE: Make the circles imperfect to resemble pieces of coal. Place in a semi-circle under the nose and glue in place for the smiling mouth.

To make the hat, trace and cut out pieces from felt according to the patterns. Take the strip and glue one of the long edges along the outside edge of the 1 1/2” circle. Overlap the ends and trim off excess of the strip. Place the open end onto the center of the 3” circle and glue in place to make the hat. Slightly stretch the edge of the 3” circle to create a wavy brim. Glue to the top of the snowman’s head. Take a small piece from a Christmas pick and glue to brim for decoration.

Cut a 6” length of the metallic thread. Thread onto to the doll needle and pierce through the top of the hat, come out about 1/4” away. Hold the ends on the thread and knot together to make the ornament hanger.
