INSTRUCTIONS

Step One: Feathers
Take your block of clay in Cherry Pie and Pumpkin and take a piece of each color and condition your clay. Once it’s in workable condition roll each color into a log/snake. Twist colors together until you have a swirl effect. You can also fully mix colors if you want.

Once satisfied with the color effect, roll into a log and cut into 6 pieces. Take one of those pieces and roll into a ball, flatten the ball and form a tear drop. Repeat and form the rest of your pieces the same.

Once you have your 6 tear drops form a fan shape and connect each piece

side by side. Make sure the two ends form a straight line. Take your cutting tool and form lines onto each teardrop. Make a line in the middle and smaller lines on the sides, kind of like a leaf texture for each.

Step Two: the Turkey
Take a piece of your latte clay and condition. Roll your piece into a log/snake and cut into two pieces. Make sure one side is bigger than the other. From the bigger piece pull a small piece o and keep on the side for the hair. Take the bigger piece of the clay, roll it into a ball and flatten. Pinch the top portion and form a “pear” shape. One side a little bit slanted. Place onto the feathers and match the bottom (straight line of the feathers). Take the other piece and roll it into a ball, flatten and shape it like a bun. Place it onto the body with a little slant/tilt to the left. With the small piece that you put a side, form a small log/snake and add it to the top of the head. Shape it however you like.

Step Three: Completing the Turkey
Take your small ball of pumpkin. Condition, roll into a ball, roll into a log/snake and then cut into 3 pieces. Take one piece and form the beak, like a triangle and place it onto the face. Take the other two pieces and roll it into a ball, put it onto both sides towards the bottom of the body. Take your cutting tool and form a line.

Take your small ball of cherry pie. Condition, roll into a ball, roll into a log/snake and then cut in half. Take one piece and form a ball, flatten, and take your cutting tool and make a small indention for a heart. Place the heart onto the body. Take the other piece and roll it into a ball, form a tear drop and place next to the beak. You can always take some pieces o of the clay if it’s too big.

Take your small ball of poppy. Condition, roll into a ball, roll into a log/snake and then cut in half. Each piece roll into a ball and place your eyes onto the face. Take your cutting tool and add eyelashes and eyebrows. And you’re done!

Bake according to package instructions.
